Java Team Lead

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop ecommerce applications
  • Driving the team running the Scrum process
  • Clarification of business requirements together with Business Analyst
  • Tracking of Requirements, Deliverables, Progress
  • Lead ecommerce projects, design architecture
  • Acts as a key knowledge hub for other developers
  • Leads and coordinates technical activities and documents throughout the project
  • Lead the technical design effort of ecommerce project that meets scalability and performance requirements
  • Ensure proper technical design and documentation
  • Adhere to engineering processes such as code reviews, source control, unit testing, use case analysis, defect management
  • Extensive experience with object-oriented framework and design
  • Lead and participate in the coding effort
  • Research and learn new ecommerce and development technologies

Candidate Requirements:

  • Lead a team of 2-7 software engineers on projects
  • Experience leading teams through the entire software development lifecycle
  • Good Java Core knowledge
  • Perfect verbal and written skills
  • Minimum of two years of experience in development and design of enterprise applications
  • J2EE knowledge: Web projects, MVC architecture, ORM,  JSP
  • Knowledge of design patterns, development processes and practices, OOP, OOD, UML
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration, JUnit or TestNG, Ant or Maven, SVN

As a plus:

  • Experience and practical knowledge in developing ecommerce applications (using Enfinity platform is a strong plus)
  • Proficiency with SQL and Oracle databases
  • Experience in XML, Web2.0 (DHTML+Ajax+JS), JDBC, Multi-threading
