The Company
Founded in 1982, Noble Sales is a leading supplier of industrial, commercial, safety, office and construction products, servicing Government, Commercial, Institutional, and Residential customers for over 20 years. They currently supply over 6000 manufacturers and maintain a catalog of nearly half a million products. Noble’s impressive warehousing and drop-shipping capabilities allow them to deliver any of their products nearly anywhere in the world.

The Challenge
Noble Sales launched noblesales.com to complement their catalog and phone order businesses, but realized in needed to revamp their online operations in order to focus on significantly growing its B2C, B2G, and B2B ecommerce channels. With inventory of hundreds of thousands of unique products and over 750,000 SKU’s available for sale at any given time, Noble Sales was positioned to become an online leader, but it needed upgrade its existing website functionality. Noble Sales recognized that an update to the look and feel of the main noblesales.com site as well as the development of advanced ecommerce and marketing capabilities were the first steps in establishing itself as a major online player.

The Solution
SysIQ provided Noble Sales with a solution that allowed them to leverage the Internet as an important sales channel, using it to communicate directly with consumers, businesses, and government organizations in a personalized manner. The solution included advanced marketing and merchandizing features and functionalities, along with advanced site search and guided navigation capabilities, as well as the ability to develop and execute more sophisticated marketing and promotional campaigns and support search engine marketing initiatives. Most significantly, SysIQ deployed multiple branded sites and landing pages to serve Noble’s broad customer base.

SysIQ was also able to help Noble Sales sell its products through marketplaces such as Amazon.com and integrate its ecommerce system with Channel Intelligence to syndicate its product catalog out to various marketplaces and price comparison sites. Noble now has the ability to process orders and provide shipping confirmations for orders which enter through these marketplaces. SysIQ’s partnership with Noble Sales has provided them with an end-to-end solution and expertise in online design, interactive marketing, along with technology applications and infrastructure.

The Result
Since launching its new ecommerce sites Noblesupply.com, NobleGOV.com, and NobleMRO.com, Noble has been able to acquire new business from major accounts due to their new and improved usability. In addition to winning new sources of revenue, Noble Sales has also seen a reduction in order processing costs due to a shift in the percentage of orders it receives through its call center to its new ecommerce channels.
