Our monitoring services give you a comprehensive outsourced monitoring solution for the network layer up through the application layer. We handle validation, notification, and reporting for fault and performance-based alerts on a broad range of network devices, operating systems, databases and applications. A dedicated Customer Relationship manager and the change management procedures are there to coordinate resources the best possible way, as well as to make the systems changes fast, precise and well-documented.

SysIQ watches over network performance 24/7/365 and is ready to act at any time. Any performance anomaly which exceeds predefined parameters is flagged for immediate action and logged for trend analysis. Immediate correctives might include re-grooming or re-routing of traffic; trend analysis might indicate the need to add capacity, retire or replace a troublesome hardware platform. In most cases, failover scenarios are completely automatic and transparent to our customers. While there may be multiple processes underway to troubleshoot and correct a problem, the engineering behind our network mesh ensures that our clients’ operations are not affected. Thresholds monitoring

The system is also able to monitor thresholds and forward notification trap messages to the main Event console. Performance thresholds for parameters such as CPU and Disk utilization can be set as required for the specific function of each device. All such thresholds are fundamentally dependent on platform, hardware type, and intended use of system resource and application processing.

Apart from front page response, application server and database monitoring, SysIQ uses end-to-end monitoring systems to ensure the flawless operation of the solution. While the appropriate systems monitor operation at the server side, a special software ‘shops’ on a test computer, pushing buttons and links, browsing and placing orders, thus simulating a real user behavior. This helps us to eliminate any weak links in the chain.

We can accommodate any amount of data the solution utilizes, expanding disk capacity and processing power within hours when needed. For example, our client Gump’s initially required 40 GB for their database, but it grew through the development process, and it took us only 40 minutes to enlarge the disk space of the virtual machine for them. Shared hosting

Shared hosting allows to run the multiple applications on the same server, which makes it a cost effective option. It also means that when someone else's application crashes, yours might as well. Shared hosting also falls flat on flexibility and scalability, and is particularly vulnerable in terms of security. Although it is a cost effective option suitable for small, non-commercial sites, shared hosting is an unacceptable solution for serious ecommerce endeavors.

Dedicated hosting

While dedicated servers solved many of the problems of shared hosting, the solution does not accommodate seasonal changes in traffic that are common to the retail sector.
